Your Extra Milk Can Make a Difference
Donor breast milk is an important resource for premature and medically fragile babies, particularly those receiving care in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs).
Through the generosity of our milk donors, we provide safe, pasteurized donor human milk to hospitals and families throughout the United States and Hawaii.
Here on the Central Coast, we provide donor milk to babies receiving care at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center, Marian Regional Medical Center, and Cottage Hospital NICUs.
When you donate your milk to us, you are helping us care for babies in your own community and beyond.
When you donate, your milk becomes part of a much larger community of families helping other families.

If you have milk to donate but can’t join us on October 24, we still want to hear from you.

Families who complete the screening process and are approved before the Milk Drive may also be able to arrange for their milk to be picked up.

What to Expect at the Milk Drive
Come by anytime between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Prospective donors can learn more about milk donation, complete their medical history questionnaire, and begin the donor process.
Frozen milk donations up to nine months old will be accepted, and required blood testing can be completed at a later date.
We’ll also have light refreshments and a special thank-you gift for donors.
The Milk Drive is free and open to the public.

This annual event is made possible through the support of organizations and individuals throughout the Central Coast.
